Job Summary
The Key Account Manager (Contract Manufacturing) is responsible for the effective management (organization, planning, execution, control and evaluation) of all aspects of Contract Manufacturing development and maintenance in the US.
Responsibilities
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES PERFORMED BY THE INCUMBENT.
  • Key Account Management for Key CM customers
  • Business development of existing customers
Regular business review meetings/calls
  • Evaluation and reporting of KPIs to customers in business review meetings, discussion with plants and CM management
  • Streamlining and optimization of supply chain processes with customer and plant
  • Forecasting and Budgeting
  • Contract Management
  • Regular Price negotiations
  • Support of Customer Service in plants in business-related and guidance in strategic questions
  • Preparation of quotations for customer projects including negotiation with the customer
  • Life cycle management for existing customers
  • Interface activities between customers and PUs. Actively monitor all aspects of the partnership and identify potential issues and possible solutions; gaining internal alignment and taking accountability for closure.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to support customer’s requests
Participation in pharmaceutical trade shows and exhibitions (e.g. CPHI) Preparation of presentations (e.g. BRM, Budget)
Also responsible for
  • Project management for transfer and commercial maintenance projects.
  • Creation of project plans for new development projects and maintenance projects.
  • Supervision of timelines, cost, and project progress for the implementation of contract manufacturing projects.
  • Constant evaluation of new customer requirements and new requests
Manage resources assigned to the project team to meet project goals/milestones.
Work with management to ensure the project has proper resources assigned
. Project controlling including the initiation of invoicing in case of commercial maintenance projects and/or credit note initiation.
  • All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy and Quality Management System as per your roles and responsibilities
  • Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
BS/BA in Science-related discipline or equivalent.
3-5 years of pharmaceutical experience.
Working knowledge of SOP’s and cGMP’s rules and regulations.
Demonstrated history of progressive leadership
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
MBA is a plus
